Early Home Care Class

This class covers how to prepare for the postpartum period and what to expect for parents and baby during the first days and weeks together. Topics for the birthing person include rest, nutrition, breast care, perineal care, postpartum mood, and more. Topics for baby include temperature, nursing, cord care, diapers, jaundice, and more. The Early Home Care Class is for Twin Cities Birth Center families only.

The class is held on the second Monday of every month. The Early Home Care Class should be taken between 30 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. This class is required for all TCBC clients.
