During this online session, our Twin Cities Birth Center IBCLC + Lactation Consultant will go over the basics of pumping for your baby when you’re back on the job, down to the nitty-gritty details. To help prepare you for this return to work, we will talk you through the following:
Your Minnesota workplace rights when it comes to pumping at work
Creating your own pumping schedule at work
How and when to advocate for your workplace pumping needs
Cleaning your pump and safely storing milk at work
Supplies to help you feel more comfortable during the workday
Taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally before, during, and after pumping
